I will be adding the following Surnames:
Bradner – The beginning of the Family Tree…
From a document created by Beulah S. Schroeder for Frank W. Bradner (Publisher) copyright September 1981:
The surname Bradner has been, and still is today, uncommon. In order to avoid any possibility of error, searches were made by the Surname Society of Sussex, England and the Scots Ancestry in Scotland in order to determine if there were or ever was any Bradner in England or Scotland. Each search proved negative (no Bradner past or present in either country). An extensive search was then undertaken in Ireland, which proved positive. Many Bradners were found to have lived in County Wicklow, Ireland. Research then concentrated on the antecedents of Rev. John Bradner. Though the testament of a John Bradner of Glencree, Co. Wicklow, Ireland could not be located, it is the opinion of the genealogical consultants in Dublin that he was the grandfather of Rev. John Bradner and the father of John Bradner (ii) below. The descendents of the John Bradner (ii) listed below are factual and well substantiated. The results of the research, and the probable antecedents of Rev. John Bradner follows:
John Bradner of Glencree, Co. Wicklow, Ireland
(i) Gilbert Wife: Susannah, Son: Rev. John Bradner (b. ca. 1692). Married Christian Colville, daughter of Rev. Alexander Colville.
