Biography: David James and wife Margaret came form the Parish of Slandely, Glascum, in Radnorshire, Wales, in Aug. 1682, purchasing a tract of land on the Eastern border of the township of Radnor, County of Chester, State of Pennsylvania. They were Friends Quakers. David died in 1739, leaving a second wife by the name of Jane.
