Biography: Thomas Paul Hughes was born xx/xx/xx in xxxx,xx. Tom retired after being a Principal for 30 years at what was originally the Snyder Avenue Elementary School in Berkeley Heights, NJ. The school was renamed to Thomas P. Hughes Elementary School in his honor after his death. He married Dorotha Jean James on 11/27/1947 and they made their home in Chatham, NJ. Their marriage ended in divorce in 1975 and Dorotha later moved to St. Augustine, FL. Tom then married Barbara on xx/xx/xx. Tom died of cancer on xx/xx/xx. Dorotha married Herman Lawerence on 12/31/1980. Barbara married Alan Farner on 04/23/??.
