Biography: Palmer Bradner was born in Westerleigh, Staten Island, N.Y., May 24, 1921. He was educated in the public schools of Millburn, New Jersey, and graduated from Millburn High School in 1939. He entered the United States Air Force in 1942 and retired as a Lt. Colonel, March 1 1968. (While fulfilling his military duties, he completed two and one half years of college and was winner of a special Honors Medal from the University of Maryland for straight "A" average for that period. Palmer flew B-17 Flying Fortresses in World War II in the European Campaign, and later flew C-124 Globemasters transport plans. His tour of duties included the Berlin Airlift, Korea, and Vietnam.

Biography: William Turnbull Bradner was born in his parent’s home at 21 Woodcrest Avenue, in Short Hills, NJ. He attended public schools in Millburn, New Jersey. He went on to Lehigh University, B.A., M.A., and Ph.D., 1951. Bill joined the United States Army – wounded in 1945 during WWII in Germany. Married Ruth Snyder, June 03, 1951, in Summit, New Jersey at the Episcopal Church with a reception at the Bernardsville Inn. Bill & Ruth moved to Providence, RI while Bill was on the staff at Brown University from 1953 through 1955. They moved to Colonia, NJ when Bill worked at Sloan Kettering from 1955 to 1958. Bill then worked for Bristol Laboratories for the next 28 years until his retirement and they lived in Dewitt, NY and then in Manlius, NY where they raised their 3 children.
