Biography: Joseph R. Bradner was a grain and hay merchant in Newark, NJ.
Biography: Frank Emile Bradner was born in Newark, New Jersey, June 8, 1854. Son of William B. and Mary (McKinney) Bradner, he studied at Newark High School and graduated from Dickinson College, Carlisle, Pa. in 1875. He was a member of Sigma Chi and U.P. Society. Frank and Olivia Farnsley of Carlisle, Pa were married on September 30, 1875. He was admitted to the New Jersey Bar Association in 1876. He was appointed City Counsel of Newark, February 11, 1914 and a few years later served on a commission to revise the City Charter. He was the author of "New Jersey Law Practice" published by Sorey & Sage Co. 1940. He lived at 22 Clinton Street, Newark, N.J. and later in Chelsea Court, 360 West 21st Street, N.Y. City where he died June 6, 1937. He is buried in Mt Pleasant Cemetery, Newark, NJ. Frank and Olivia Bradner were divorced in 1899. He remarried, his second wife, Julia Hollaway. Olivia remarried John McConnel. There were no children by the second marriages. Olivia died in or near Shrebrooke, Canada in 1901.
