Biography: Thomas Wickham was an elder of the 1st Presb Church of Goshen.  He was a lifelong resident of Goshen, a farmer and a member of the Orange Co Agricultural Soc.  Thomas married Susan Smith (b. 06/23/1795 d. 05/12/1865) in Goshen, Orange, NY on 02/06/1816.  Susan’s Father was Asa Smith and her mother was Sara Carpenter.

Thomas and Susan had 10 children:

 

 

Biography: Colville Bradner was born on December 23, 1791 and died on April 03, 1840.  On Dec 22, 1818 he married Sarah Denton (b. July 9, 1794; d. Mar 26, 1862) in Goshen, NY.  Colville and Sarah are buried in the Wallkill Cemetery.

Directions: From Rte. 17E in Middletown, Orange Co., NY, take Exit 122. Turn right onto Co. Rte. 67 (East Main Street). You are now in the area which used to be called "Phillipsburgh" (not the same as Phillipsburgh in Westchester Co.). There is a historical marker on your left at foot of hill. Go around the curve and take your first left turn on to Midway Rd. This crosses over the Wallkill River; bear left. You will see a farmhouse on your right. The driveway to enter the cemetery is here. HOWEVER, you can continue on Midway Road to the corner where it becomes CEMETERY Rd. and bear right. This takes you to the old front entrance to the cemetery. This entrance is gated. You cannot enter here unless you climb the low stone wall.

Biography: William Bradner was born on 02/18/1794.  He married Frances Emily Wood (b. 1794) on 01/03/1822 in Goshen, Orange, NY.

William and Frances had 3 children:

 

 

Biography: Frances Bradner Strong was born on 10/09/1796 and died on 10/21/1873.  She married William Brewster Strong.

Frances and William had 2 children:

 

 

Biography: Horace Bradner (Dr.) was born on 09/17/1799 and died on 03/1829 as a result of a duel in Natchez, LA.

 

 

Biography: Maria Bradner was born on 06/26/1803.  She married a man named Crosby and a man named Ebenezer Seely (b. 08/05/1805 d. 01/21/1880).  Ebenezer’s father was Jonas Seely (b.1769 d.1835) and his mother was Elizabeth Townsend (b. 1774 d.1824).  Maria and Ebenezer were married on 12/06/1826.
